Validity Check Social Security Numbers
This service is for the batch processing of records containing Social Security Numbers to determine which ones contain non-issued, deceased, issued prior to given date of birth, or otherwise questionable ssns. The report will detail which ssns are questionable and why as well as which ones are for persons reported deceased or have never been issued at all. The report of deceased ssns will include the name, date of birth, date of death, city, state, zip for where benefits were being sent or to where a lump sum payment was mailed. You can optionally elect to have appended to all records, the state where the ssn was assigned, when it was assigned and how old the person was when it was assigned. You can send us your file by uploading direct from your computer by secure SSL encrypted transfer directly to our server. Name, address, date of birth, phone number information can also be appended to your records
The file must be submitted in ASCII format.
When your files are uploaded for processing on our server they are processed at a rate of about 30,000 records per minute.
Software is available for a variety of platforms to validity check social security numbers at your site or to link to your applications.
